a difference
Buttons.. Undone finished on Saturday 26th April after playing to appreciative and
enthusiastic audiences at the Miners Institute, Blackwood; the Parc and Dare,
Treorchy and the Grand Theatre, Swansea and the Congress Theatre Cwmbran.
Owen hopes to produce another adult farce for spring 2009.
Photographs: Louis Milburn.
Owen Money starred as Buttons with a strong supporting cast -
Phylip Harries and Sue Roderick as the Ugly sisters; Sammi Broad
as Cinderella; Lloyd Davies and
Toni Caroll as Baron & Baroness
Hardup; Llinos Thomas (Dandini); Anthony Moulton
as Prince Charming
with Emily Thorling and Nikki Lang cast as the Fairies.
This production was an hilarious night of fun that had audiences rocking
with laughter!
Did Buttons have his wicked way with Cinders?
That would be telling - Buttons … Undone!
Owen Money received his MBE at Buckingham Palace in
June 2007
A very proud Owen travelled to London with his wife and family for this
very
special
occasion last June. He was awarded his MBE for services
to
entertainment and
was quite overwhelmed and moved by the
experience.
As he said "it was quite an
unusual day in the life of Merthyr's
Best Entertainer!" |
